Second FIRST Thursday

Another First Thursday mailer for Epiphany. The client is really happy with the icons I've done of their glass pieces (right, lower). Because they produce specific lines of glass pieces (sculptures with specific shapes and names like "Volcano", "Splash", "Zebra", etc.), I thought the icons would be great tools for signifying and symbolizing each line. We're also using them extensively in Epiphany's upcoming catalog.

FROSTBITES!

Yes. I designed a logotype for an ice cream shoppe. Weee! That's the happiest kind of job ever! This was a sub-contract job for Aimee Coffin over at AC Illustration. They wanted something hip, modern, clean. NOT whimsical. I scream, you scream, we all scream for "not whimsical".

Frostbites went out of business!! But before you go blaming my logo, consider their ginormous store on prime, Woodward real estate in Ferndale. They would have had to sell a metric frickton of ice cream. I think they just needed a smaller, more modest space. C'est la vie.
